It goes very well in the family room of my daughters home. He loves sitting in it at all times of the day, from having "coffee" with his dad in the morning, to watching his favorite TV shows. He has had a few "food and drink spills" on it from time to time, and they clean right off without leaving a spot. Everyone comments on it, because it is so different than most children's chairs, and you don't mind having it out all the time.
